Doris Ann Nolen

Doris Ann Nolen, 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in Arlington. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday, November 2, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Restland Memorial Park, Dallas. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 1, at the funeral home. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Doris was born on August 7, 1934 in Dallas to Burton Clay Davidson and Gladys Trotter Davidson. An Arlington resident since 1972, she was an active member of First Baptist Church and her Sunday school class. She was married for 50 years to John Robert Nolen. Doris retired from Sanger Harris department stores. She was a former member of the Arlington Woman's Club. Doris loved arts and crafts and was an avid doll collector. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Nolen. Survivors: Son, Andrew Nolen and wife, Tammie; daughter, Janet Blass; grandchildren, Andrea Nolen, Grant Nolen, Brandon Blass and Taylor Blass; and great-grandchildren, Ivory Nolen and Rosalie Nolen.
