Doris June Williams

March 11, 1943 — February 16, 2021

The world lost a loving wife, mother and grandmother Doris June Williams (age77). She left the world suddenly Tuesday, February 16, 2021. She is survived by her husband Wayne Williams her three children Tommie Moore, Ron Williams, Kristi Dempsey and four grandchildren Cody, Katrina,Haley and Paige. She met the man of her dreams when she was 13 years old- she fell in love instantly because he looked just like Elvis. They were happily married for 60 wonderful years. They had many adventures together and loved to travel. In the most recent years their favorite place to be was Biloxi Mississippi at Cruising the Coast. There they met many new friends that they considered family. Her favorite things were working in the yard tending to her flowers. Baking sweets, I cannot remember a time where I was there there wasn't something freshly baked. Her absolute favorite thing to do with spending time with her family and being a GiGi to her grandchildren. She became a caretaker and mother to every single person that ever walked through her front door. Most of the memories are of all of the stories and times spent sitting at her kitchen table. She will be dearly missed by many and forever in our hearts. Due to the recent winter storm and Covid we are opting not to have a service at this time. We are planning for a small gathering for family and friends sometime in the upcoming spring and we will update and contact family with details. Wade Family Funeral Home 817-274-9233
