Donna Jo Dillon Jobe, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on February 27, 2024, at her home in Arlington, Texas, at the age of 67. Born in Dallas on July 21, 1956, she was the daughter of Donald Joseph Dillon and Shirley Ann Terry.
Donna was a graduate of the Sam Houston High School class of 1974. She was well-known for her sweet nature, vibrant personality, and love for her family. Donna adored her children and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren who called her “Nana”. She was a true beauty, inside and out.
She married Charles Jobe on June 28, 2013 in Lake Tahoe. Her love for travel, especially cruises, brought her immense joy, and she shared her zest for life with all who knew her. Donna, with her kind and gentle demeanor, was easy to love. She had a special bond with her loyal companion, her dog, Jennie Jo.
She had a passion for skin care and was treasured by her clients and colleagues. Donna had been an esthetician in Arlington since 1997, owning a spa & salon on Abram Street for many years.
Donna is survived by her loving spouse, Charles Jobe; daughter, April Loe (Tyler); sons, John Jobe, James Jobe (Carima) and Justin Jobe (Tannie); brother, Larry Dillon (Cheryl); sisters, Cindy Vestal (James), Lauri Field (Dusty); grandchildren Reese, Trace, Stevi, Jeorja, Jesika, Tanner, Hannah, Jaxson, Jace, five beloved great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital, the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, or the ASPCA.
