Donald Mansfield Winter

Donald Mansfield "Don" Winter, 84, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 in Arlington. Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, at Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park, 7301 E. Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth. Visitation: 12-1 p.m. prior to the graveside at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Don was born on January 22, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa to Row Winter and Pauline Johnston Winter. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Don worked as a longtime Optometrist in Arlington. He attended Calvary Church in Fort Worth. Don enjoyed fishing, golfing, building, and tinkering with everything. He was a regular Mr. Fix It. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Winter; parents, Row and Pauline Winter; and brother, Ted Winter. Survivors: Daughters, April J. Blakey and husband, Brian, Sharon E.
