Donald Jay “Donnie” Edmundson, 67, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

Donnie was born on May 19, 1956 in Chillicothe, Texas to Noel and Lois Mae Edmundson. He graduated from Vernon College with an Associates Degree. He worked in the mechanical engineering field specializing in designing, building, and maintaining commercial laundry machines. Donnie was a handyman who could fix anything. He was always there to help others; he was a thoughtful and caring man and was generous with his time.

Donnie enjoyed staying active and was always working on projects. He especially enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on both cars and motorcycles. Donnie restored a 1955 Chevy Bel-Air as well as several classic Honda motorcycles. He loved camping in Colorado with his family. He also enjoyed listening to country music.

Donnie was a great husband and father. He had a big heart and always wanted the best for his family. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Noel Wright Edmundson, and his mother, Lois Mae Hansen Edmundson.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his daughter, Katherine; his brother, Lee; and his sister, Linda Cunningham.
