ARLINGTON -- Donald Reiner "Donnie" Sewell, 56, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, in Ellis County.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Friday in Skyvue Memorial Gardens, Mansfield.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Donnie was born on Sept. 8, 1960, in VillenBach, Germany, to Donald Lee Sewell and Edith Henriette Verborg Sewell. He was raised in Arlington and graduated from Sam Houston High School and Tarrant County Junior College with a degree in business. Donnie earned a master's degree in international business at Missouri Southern University in May of 2016. He lived in Carl Junction near Joplin, Mo., prior to moving back to Arlington. Donnie worked as a sales representative for Blue Bunny Ice Cream Food Service. He enjoyed golf, soccer, tennis and eating.
Survivors: Wife, Charlotte Sewell; son, Cody Whitaker and wife, Shandy; daughter, Jamie Whitaker; father, Donald Lee Sewell and wife, Ann; mother, Edith Verborg Sewell; sisters, Patty McQueen and husband, Jim, Anita Sewell and Ron Carnley, and Diana Douberly and husband, Marvin; granddaughter, Peyton Palley; grandson, Jensen Whitaker; and best friend, Bernard Schwan and wife, Debbie.
