ARLINGTON-Bible Scholar, Teacher and talented tenor, Deoram Bholan, 76, entered the Heavenly realm on Monday, January 22, 2018.
Service: A celebration of life service will be held in his honor on Friday, January 26th at 11:30 a.m. at Fielder Church, 2011 Fielder Rd., Arlington, TX 76013. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Memorials: If so desired, in lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up to honor Brother Deoram Bholan. Memorial gifts may be made to Eugenie Bholan in care of Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas 76013.
Deoram was born on April 2, 1941 in Guyana, South America. He graduated from Queens College in 1960 and married Eugenie Jairaj in 1963. He worked as a school headmaster and teacher of Math, French and Latin. Deoram accepted God's call upon his life to teach the Gospel and moved to the United States. He remained a humble and faithful servant of the Lord and his ministry and music touched the hearts of thousands of lives around the world.
He was preceded to Heaven by his granddaughter, Faith Rose Lautzenheiser, in 2013.
Survivors: Deoram is survived by his wife of 54 years, Eugenie; children, Sharon Yerby and her husband, John, Ruth Lautzenheiser and her husband, Ken, and Ben Bholan and his wife, Kirsten; five grandchildren, Drew, Derek, Grace, Isabella and Lilliana; and sisters, Sheila, Seeta, Mala, Binkie and Sanko.
