Denise Louise “Dee-Dee” Escobar, 51, of Bellflower, California, passed away on April 11, 2016 in Arlington, Texas. Viewing will be 5-7pm Saturday April 16, 2016 at Wade Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas Funeral services will be held 2pm Sunday April 17, 2016 at Mayfield Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas. Denise Escobar was born in Bellflower, California to Ted Trujillo & Jacquelyn Doughty on May 18, 1964. She graduated from Bellflower High School in 1982. She married Bennie Escobar on May 18, 1986 in Norwalk, California. Denise Escobar is preceded in death by her father and mother Ted Trujillo and Jacquelyn Doughty and Sister Christy Nurre. Denise Escobar is survived by her husband Bennie Escobar of Arlington, Texas, her son Joseph Alan-Trujillo Escobar and his wife Sarah Escobar of Kansas City, Missouri, her daughter Yvonne Lynn Escobar and her grand-daughter Marleigh Escobar of Arlington, Texas, Sister Diane Walsh and her husband John Walsh of Oakdale, California as well as their children Christopher, James, & Rachel. Her Brother Dennis Trujillo and his wife Vicki Trujillo of San Angelo, Texas as well as their children Megan, Lauren, & Kaitlin. Her brother David Trujillo and his wife Kelley Trujillo of Garden Grove, California. Her brother Michael Trujillo of Lakewood, California and his children Jeffrey and Jonathan Trujillo. Her brother Allen Carberry of Los Angeles, Her brother Wayne Carberry and his wife Norma Carberry of Whittier, California as well as their children Kevin and Justine Carberry. Amongst these family she has numerous other brothers, sisters, and children all adopted by love. “Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.” Denise Escobar was exactly that, one candle that lit the fire in so many people's lives and always knowing it never shortened hers by even a minute. She gave endlessly and only took when she absolutely had to. She will be missed by many and carried on by many more.
