Dellbert was born December 8, 1937, in Wibaux, Montana to Oscar and Frances Blyton. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for six years. He retired from Texas Instruments after 25 years, began a new career with Southwest Airlines in 1997, and retired in 2008.
Dellbert's focus in life was his family. He loved time with them at their summer home he named “The Mountain Top,” overlooking the small town where he grew up in the Rocky Mountains in Montana. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending weekends at their farm in Whitesboro, Texas. His hobby was collecting antique tractors and farm equipment. He was a member of the Arlington Antique Tractor Club, and participated in antique tractor shows in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. Dellbert will be remembered for his love of family and life.
He is preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Albert and brother, Dick.
Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Brenda Swaner Blyton; daughter, Delette Clifton; son, Derek Blyton and wife, Sunny; brothers, Donald, Robert, and David; grandchildren, Justin Clifton, Billy Clifton, Jr., Tyler Blyton, and Haylee Poteet; and a host of family and friends.
