Della Lee Overton

It is with great sorrow that the Overton family must announce that Della Overton, 85, passed away on August 1, 2022, in Arlington, TX.

Della is survived by her husband, Allen; daughters, Deanna and Laurie; sons, Michael and Brian; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, as well as her sister, Dixie, and brother, Frank.

Della is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Catherine Morris, and a sister, Patricia.

Memorial services for Della will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 17, at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Arlington, TX.

Della was born in Madison County, IA on January 6, 1937 and married Allen Overton on March 8, 1957. After many stops throughout the country, Della and Allen made Arlington their permanent residence in 1983. Della worked for A.I.S.D. in Food & Nutrition Services for 14 years and was active in Most Blessed Sacrament Church as a Eucharistic Minister and in various organizations. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made to Most Blessed Sacrament Church or a worthy charity of your choice.
