Deanna Winter Woods

Deanna Winter Woods, 65, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in Arlington. Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 5, at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington with Mr. Ken Stewart officiating. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to DFW Pug Rescue Club Inc., 1210 Eaton Ln., Grapevine, TX 76051 or a charity of one's choice. Deanna was born on December 3, 1951 in Cleburne to Durward Winter and Nina Louise Smith Winter. She was raised in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School in 1970. Deanna was passionate about singing, and enjoyed writing, arts, and theatre. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William Woods. Survivors: Daughters, Stormie Clark and husband, Howard Kaler, and Fathom Collins and wife, Connie Collins; brother, Gary Winter and wife, DeeDee; nieces, Kim Winter Angelo and husband, Conan, Pam Winter, and Debbie Winter; longtime family friend, Amy Ashworth; and her beloved dogs, Halle and Junie.
