David Henry Jennings

David Henry Jennings, 65, passed away January 22, 2017 in Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2017 at Matthew Road Baptist Church, 4601 Matthew Road, Grand Prairie, with Pastor Phil McGlothlin officiating. David was born June 27, 1951 in Okmulgee, OK. His family moved to Wichita Falls, where he graduated from Rider High School in 1969. He then graduated with his BBA from UTA. David was passionate about his family, especially his new granddaughter. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Stars, target shooting, ancient Egypt and biblical studies and research. David was very active at Matthew Road Baptist Church, where he was a member of the finance committee and a beloved member of the church family. If ever David wasn't at home, church, or visiting family and friends, you could almost always find him at Waffle House! Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, Donald Jennings and Ashley Jennings; daughter, Donna Jennings; sister, Cynthia Jennings; granddaughter, Valerie Jennings; and close friends, Steve and LeiLani Burson.
