ARLINGTON -- David "Dave" William Brown, 56, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, after a courageous one-year battle with pancreatic cancer in Arlington.
Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5819 W. Pleasant Ridge Road, Arlington. Vigil: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Dave was born Nov. 22, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, to James Brown and Muzetta McComb Brown. He was raised in Columbus and moved to Indianapolis where he graduated from Speedway High School. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in industrial management. Dave worked in industrial sales in various states. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and golfing.
Dave served on pastoral counsel, was a eucharistic minister, spoke at confirmation retreats and was instrumental in bringing the parish mission to St. Vincent de Paul.
Survivors: Wife, Kimberly Brown; daughter, Hilary Elizabeth Snyder and husband, Alexander "Xander"; son, Jacob William Brown; sister, Terri Bolles and husband, Bob; grandchildren, Alexander "Miles" Snyder; and his faithful furry friends, Gideon and Dory.
