David Price

February 7, 1972 — April 11, 2025

David Wayne Price was born on February 7, 1972, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, to the late David Price and Jessica Marie Price-Walton. He peacefully departed this life on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Texas.

David accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion First Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Claude Black. After relocating to Arlington, Texas, he became an active member of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church, pastored by Dr. Tony Evans. There, he served faithfully in the youth ministry as a mentor and lived out his strong and unwavering faith-beginning each day with scripture and prayer.

He received his primary and secondary education in the Northeast Independent School District (NEISD) in San Antonio, Texas. David went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern New Mexico University, where he also played college football. Following graduation, he married the love of his life, Nia, and pursued a career in semi-professional football before settling down in Arlington.

David was a dedicated employee of Thomson Reuters for 23 years, until his health began to decline. He was also a certified personal trainer and strength coach, owning and operating a strength and conditioning warehouse in his local community. His passion for health and fitness inspired many, including friends, coworkers, and family who often sought his advice on wellness.

He was a multi-talented individual with a creative flair, gifted in drawing, graphic design, and information technology-talents that are evident in his daughters today. David was a true "gentle giant" with a big heart for everyone that crossed his path. He was a happy person and loved being around happy people. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, his love for his 1993 black Bronco, memorable trips to Rockport, and his vibrant, joyful spirit. He thrived in nature and loved outdoor adventures like hiking, cycling, and camping.

David is survived by his loving wife, Nia, and their three beautiful daughters: Adanya, Dazani, and Dakota. He also leaves behind: Robert (brother), Elijah (nephew), Sue, Souri, Pang, Lee (sister in laws), Elmer, William (special uncles); Sheila, Verna, Anita (special cousins); Peggy, (aunt), Pricha, Prany, Narin (brother in laws). There are a host of other cherished relatives and special friends too numerous to list.
