ARLINGTON -- David Matthew Merrill, 36, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, in Fort Worth. Funeral: Noon Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W., Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m Thursday at the funeral home. David was born Nov. 22, 1977, in Euless to Peggy Vaughan and David William Merrill. He was a lifelong Arlington resident and enjoyed computers, music, cooking and reading. David was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Diane Vaughan. Survivors: Parents, David and Bridget Merrill; sons, David Michael Merrill and Matthew Rowan Merrill; daughter, Madeline Diane Merrill; brother, John Straker; sisters, Jenny Lea Merrill Bolding and husband, Brad Bolding, and Kara Straker; and six loving nieces and nephews.
