David John Kelly

David John Kelly, 52, passed away April 21, 2018. Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 30, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Inurnment: 1:15 p.m., Monday, April 30, Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Memorials: Pancreatic Cancer Association, Community Hospice of Texas or Wreaths Across America. David was born March 30, 1966 in St. Charles, IL. He was a graduate of Martin High School. After graduation he enlisted in the Air Force where he served for 4 years. After an honorable discharge he began a career as an air traffic controller with the FAA. He loved sitting on his back porch deck, baking friendship bread, cooking, and driving his corvette. David was the kind of person who always wanted to do everything just right. He was preceded in death by his father, Eldred “Bing” Kelly; and nephew, Nicholas. Survivors: He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Kelly; son, Alex Kelly; sister, Linda Curzan (Jim); brother, Tom Kelly (Karon); brother, Danny Kelly (Monica); nieces, nephews, and extended family.
