David John Davis

ARLINGTON -- David John Davis, 66, passed away Sunday February 12, 2012 in Arlington. Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington. Inurnment: 1 p.m. Thursday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts may be made to the Veterans Hospital or the American Pancreatic Association. Dave was born October 30, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Morgan and Rose Davis. He was a graduate of University of Cincinnati. He proudly served his country in U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division Infantry during the Vietnam War and was a recipient of the purple heart and bronze star. Dave's career began with American Airlines and then with Canning Drilling Technology before retiring from Marriott Hotels. Survivors: Wife, Donna Davis; son, Christopher Davis and wife, Amy; daughter, Elizabeth Davis; parents, Morgan and Rose Davis; and a host of family and friends.
