David Elliott Way, Sr., 78, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019 in Arlington, Texas. A Graveside Service for David will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211. Pastor Bobby Bridges will officiate the service. David was born on December 3, 1940 in Asheboro, North Carolina to Worth and Hilda (Hawkins) Way. He served in the U.S. Army, and was employed as an assistant manager in the Grocery business. David was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Charles Way and one sister, Barbara Glover. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lenora; three sons, David Way, Jr. and wife, Dianna, Michael Way and wife, Sandra and Karl Mayer; one daughter, Lenora Jean Seagraves; grandchildren, Eri Way, Dallas Austin, Jessica Johnson-Lyons and husband, Bobby, David Arrington and wife, Laura and Hugh Haley Arrington; great-grandchildren, Jayden Johnson, Karter Bartlett Lyon, Bryson Arrington, Gunner Arrington, Atlas Williams and Daelyn Arrington.
