David Darwin Derby

David Darwin Derby, 65, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2023 in Arlington, Texas.

David was born in Lakewood, Ohio on April 27, 1957 to Dalton Derby and Leonora Mazur.

David loved baseball and football and growing up in Ohio he became a lifelong fan of the hometown Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns. He also lived in Oregon for awhile and this is where he grew to love fishing. He was a proficient grill-master and enjoyed spending time on the golf course. He loved dogs and had a black lab and a rottweiler.

David was preceded in death by his parents Dalton Derby and Leonora Mazur Derby Shiles and his sister Darryl Derby Rodgers Abbott.

He is survived by his wife Loretta Bricker Derby; son Joshua Derby Evans (husband Greg); daughter Jennifer Mcintosh (husband Stewart); sister Dana Straub; brother Tony Derby and grandchildren William and Marcilynn Mcintosh.
