FORT WORTH -- Dave Allen Briggs, 60, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014, in Fort Worth. Memorial service: 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Dave was a member of Ridglea Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Briggs, and infant son, Dave Allen Briggs Jr. Survivors: Father, Clarence Briggs of Arlington; daughters, Sharise Briggs and husband, Chris Sleasman, of Indiana and Stephanie Briggs of Arlington; sister, Cheryl Briggs and husband, Joey Lankford, of Fort Worth; brother, Gary Briggs and wife, Jan, of Rio Vista; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved canine companions, Cuddles and Sabrina.
