ARLINGTON -- Danny David Good, 60, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016, in Arlington.
Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday, St. Barnabas United Methodist Church, 5011 W. Pleasant Ridge Rd., Arlington. Interment: 11:15 a.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Lane B.
Dan was born December 9, 1955 to David and Erma Good in Merced, California. Dan left this life and entered the next on March 29, 2016. He was the oldest of three children. Dan spent his youth in the Bay area, and his teen years in South Dakota. After graduating high school, Dan joined the Marines and traveled the world. After discharge, Dan returned to California and studied accounting at Merced Community College and Fresno State University. Dan moved to Texas in the mid 1990's, where he met his wife, Sandra Good. They were married December 25, 1997.
Dan loved people and made friends where ever he went. He enjoyed a career in sales, most recently at Auto Nation Toyota in Arlington. Dan loved the outdoors, but loved spending time with his grandchildren most of all. Dan was a man of faith.
Dan is preceded in death by his mother, Erma Barnes Good.
Survivors: Wife, Sandra Lee Good; father, David Good and wife, Ruth; brother, Dwight Good and wife, Danielle; sister, Donya Walker; daughter, Melody Good; step-children, Erin Merkel, Jonathan Merkel and wife, Jodi, Carrie Kimbrough and husband, Chris, Kristin Musci and husband, Judson, Ryan Merkel, and Kevin Merkel and partner, Clint, Stephen Merkel and wife, Ellen; grandchildren, Tobey, Tristin, Owen, Nora, Connor, Marlies, Tyler and Tabitha.
