Danny Joe Clanton

ARLINGTON -- Danny Joe Clanton, 72, a loving husband, father, granddad and great-granddad, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014, at his home in Arlington. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday at Mansfield Christian Fellowship, 107 N. First Ave., Mansfield. Memorials: Memorial donations can be made in Danny's name to Heart to Heart Hospice or a charity of choice. Danny was born May 2, 1942, to N.E. "Bill" Clanton and Lillian Whitlow Clanton in Blanchard, Okla. Danny was married to Donna Patton on Oct. 11, 1968. He had two sons, Troy in 1963 and Brett in 1969. Danny later had seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Survivors: Wife, Donna Clanton; son, Troy and Crystal Clanton; son, Brett and Tamara Clanton; grandchildren, Garrett and Krysty McClendon, Lauren and Micheal Morrison, Jessica and Kris Jeter, Auston Tyler and Jillian Clanton, and Colton, Cade and Cord Clanton; eight great-grandchildren; Joey and Kayemille Goss and their children, Chelsea, Danton and Kaden; and siblings, Becky and Billy Harmon, and Dean and Kathy Clanton.
