Daniel Ray Lipinski (known to one and all as Danny) passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 14. 2020 at the age of 57.
Danny was born on February 18, 1963 in Grand Prairie, Texas, the son of Edward and Bertha Webb Lipinski. Growing up in North Texas, Danny attended Sam Houston High School in Arlington. Never comfortable in the confines of school Danny left to find work and emerged as a press man for the Arlington Citizen Journal newspaper. Changing times moved him to seek a career in pest control where he served the community of Dallas/Fort Worth extensively for many years. Danny married Cindy Pool in 1981 and they gave the world two children, Catrina and Bobby. Although a hard worker and a dependable provider, Danny was never defined by his job but by his devotion to his family and the care of his children who he adored. Through the years, Danny proved to be a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He never failed to give a helping hand to those who needed it and he worked tirelessly for those he cared about. A simple man, he found his pleasures and rewards enjoying hours spent outdoors and engaged with family and friends. If the children were swimming and the grill was hot, Danny was content and smiling, his crooked grin in full evidence. Always a supporter of his favorite football team, The Dallas Cowboys, he was also rarely caught in public without his trademark cowboy hat and boots. Gone too soon, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His presence in our lives cannot be measured. We loved you then and always.
Danny Lipinski was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Bertha, and his brother Johnny Nash.
Survivors include the mother of his children Cindy Pool Lipinski Roberts; and their daughter Catrina Lipinski Bishop and their son Robert Lipinski (Bobby); mother-in-law Sally Pool; five grandchildren, Jayme, Elizabeth, Derick, Patrick, Brandon Lipinski; sisters, Jayne Morton (husband Joe), Susan Miller and Linda Gray; brothers David Lipinski, Paul (wife Leah) Lipinski and Michael Nash; many nephews and nieces.
