Daniel Bruce Mathis, 66, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 in Arlington. Visitation will be on Friday, December 28, 2018, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Tx 76013. Graveside Services will be Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Hawkins Cemetery. Daniel was born on August 3, 1952 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Carl Bruce Mathis and Dorris Lorraine Carter Mathis. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as an electrician. Daniel was preceded in death by his father. Survivors: Wife, Mary M. Church Mathis; mother, Dorris Carter Mathis; son, Bruce Mathis and wife, Erica; daughter, Kelly Shukait and husband, Steven; brother, Joey Mathis; sister, Jeannie Mathis; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces.
