Dan Mcgrew

Dan McGrew 103, of Grand Prairie, TX, passed away on Sunday February 7, 2021 in Grand Prairie, TX. He will always be remembered as a loving father, and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on February 12, 1917 in Thurber, TX, to Lee McGrew and Parilee Walton McGrew. Dan was a lifetime member of the VFW, and TEXAS Region Antique Club. He enjoyed dancing at the local senior center, dancing up to five times a week. Dan also enjoyed being a member of the antique automobile club. Dan was preceded in death by his parents Lee McGrew and Parilee Walton Mcgrew, brother of Nettie Teubner McGrew, Harvey O. McGrew, Leota Jean Hillburn, James B., Donald G. and Joyce Eastep. Dan was survived by his daughter Glenda McGrew, grandson Timothy Blankenhiem, granddaughter Robin Blankenhein, great-grandsons Kealan and Quinn Larkin, niece Laura Derrick and nephew Jody Eastep. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Wade Family Funeral Home in Arlington, TX from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. A graveside service for Dan will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in Moran, TX at Denis Cemetery at 2:00pm.
