Dale Andrew Fout

Dale Andrew Fout, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 66. He was born on March 27, 1957, in Canton, Ohio, to his parents Ernie Fout and Naomi Eba Fout. Dale will be deeply missed by his devoted wife of 32 years, Barbara Fout.

Dale dedicated his life to the pursuit of success and built a remarkable marketing career. In his earlier career, he was very successful in yellow page adverting sales. An entrepreneurial spirit, he established Fout Enterprises and DFW Advertising Consultants and became known for his marketing genius.

While Dale’s professional achievements were noteworthy, it was his genuine warmth and charisma that left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He had an unparalleled ability to connect with people, effortlessly building relationships wherever he went. Dale was a natural storyteller, and his infectious laughter and captivating tales drew others to him like a magnet. He truly embodied the spirit of an influencer and had an unwavering compassion for others.

In his leisure time, Dale loved watching all sports, particularly cheering for his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes and Dallas Cowboys. His passion extended beyond sports, as he found great joy in detailing cars and expressing his support for law enforcement. Dale’s faith in Jesus Christ was also a cornerstone of his life, and he was an active member of the Heartland Church in Carrollton.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Fout; daughter, Kimberly Oosthuizen, and four grandchildren; brothers, Larry Fout and Mark Fout; and sisters, Tonna Chaligoj, Ruth Brown and Kathy Reynolds. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Naomi Fout; and his brother, Mike Fout.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the World Mission Outreach Organization (whoiswmoo.org) or Fans of Africa (fansofafrica.com), causes near and dear to Dale’s heart.
