Cyrus Kelii-Takeshi Fujiwara

Cyrus Keli’i Takeshi Fujiwara, of Grand Prairie, TX passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in Dallas, TX.  He will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend to all that knew and loved him.  He was born on Monday, March 15, 1999 in Kauai, HI to Ronald T. Fujiwara JR. and Ashley L. Apo.  Cyrus attended Kekaha Elementary School from 2004-2007; Anna May Daulton Elementary School from 2007-2010; Danny Jones Middle School from 2010-2013; Lake Ridge High School from 2013-2017; University of Texas, Arlington from 2017-2021.  He was also a member of the JROTC.  Cyrus enjoyed gaming, working on cars, and music as he played saxophone and guitar.

Cyrus is survived by his parents, Ronald T. Fujiwara Jr. and Ashley Apo; sisters, Kayli Apo-Carreiro and Kiara Blithe; Paternal grandparents, Michael Rosalind May and Ronald Fujiwara SR.; Maternal grandmother, Lori Apo; Uncle, William Candy Vaughn, Cody Apo; Aunts, Franane (Scott) Huber, Rhonda (Chris) Lirette, Melissa “Kimi” (Sam Mack) Fujiwara, Malia (Sean Canady) May, Tracie (Ryan) Sakamoto and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his Maternal grandfather, Darrell Keli’i Apo; Cousin, Kainoa Robert Huber

The funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Wade Family Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, TX at 11:30am.
