ARLINGTON -- Curtis Blake Griffin, 59, passed away Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, in Arlington.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, with Dr. Bill Keele officiating. Interment: Hawkins Cemetery, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to Chimala Mission in Tanzania Africa, in care of New York Avenue Church of Christ, 5371 New York Ave., Arlington.
Curtis was born Jan. 30, 1956, in Midland. He was a resident of Arlington and Fort Worth most of his life. Curtis was a member of New York Avenue Church of Christ. He was disabled for many years and was a blessing to many. Curtis was an avid TCU football and basketball fan. He loved to read his Bible.
Survivors: Sons, Curtis Griffin and Antonio Griffin; daughter, Angel Griffin; sisters, Joann Brown and Lynnette Richardson; several grandchildren; and nieces and nephews, including Brenda Hall, Delbert and Cheryl Sanders, Robert Hall Sr. and Regis Small.
