Curtis Lee Ware

Curtis Lee Ware, 59, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 in Arlington. Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Box 14531, Arlington, TX 76094 or Mission Arlington, missionarlington.org. Curtis was born on October 1, 1957 in Sweetwater, Texas to Jimmy Henry Ware and Marguerite Conn Ware. He was raised in Lubbock and Arlington. Curtis was a longtime Arlington resident and graduate of the first class of Bowie High School. He married the love of his life Phyllis Ann Cole on October 13, 1979. Curtis worked with his family in underground utility construction with Conn and Sons Construction in Arlington. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and enjoyed traveling with family. Curtis was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy H. Ware; brother-in-law, Jerry Allen; and mother-in-law, Barbara Jean Cole. Survivors: Wife of 37 years, Phyllis Ann Cole Ware; son, Curtis Lee Ware Jr. and wife, Amanda; daughter, Jennifer LeeAnn Dvorak and husband, Larry; mother, Margaret Ware; brothers, Jimmy H. Ware Jr. and wife, Janis, and Grady Ware and wife, Pam; sister, Paula Allen; father-in-law, Sam Cole; grandchildren, Audrey, Ella, Jackson and Cole; and his beloved labs, Maddie and Buddy.
