ARLINGTON -- Cora Lee Holt went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 11, 2014.
Graveside service: 3 p.m. Saturday in Point Enterprise Cemetery, Mexia. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Lee, as she known by friends and family, was born March 20, 1933, to Elbridge and Lucy Holt in the small community of Point Enterprise outside Mexia, the youngest of eight children. Lee attended East Texas State College and majored in art. On May 18, 1952, she married Donald Ray Crockett and settled in Arlington, where they raised their three daughters, Lynn, Tanya and Laura.
Lee lived the remainder of her life in Arlington.
Lee was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Holt and Amos Holt; sisters, Ruby Williams, Marguerite Kerzee and Elizabeth Hawkins.
Survivors: Daughters, Lynn Crockett Davis and husband, Mark, Tanya Crockett Giddens and husband, Greg, Laura Crockett Nation and husband, Hunter; granddaughters, Amanda Gilbert and husband, Hartley, Alyana Giddens and Elizabeth Davis; great-grandson, Caden Gilbert; brother, Edward Holt; and sister, Lou Calame.
