Constance Lynn Beard (1947–2025)

Constance Lynn Beard, 77, of Arlington, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, at her home. Born on June 2, 1947, in Carthage, Missouri, to James and Jaquelyn Miller, Constance led a life filled with kindness, compassion, and a dedication to helping others.

She was well known for her generous spirit and her unwavering support for those in need. Constance spent much of her time managing a social media page that provided guidance and support to victims of scams, helping them find peace and solutions in times of distress.

Creativity was at the heart of Constance’s life, and she found great joy in crocheting, a passion she pursued until health challenges made it difficult to continue. An avid collector, she had a particular love for owls and items with owl designs, finding comfort in their symbolism and beauty.

Above all, Constance treasured her family, especially her granddaughter, Addy, who was the light of her life. The bond they shared brought her immeasurable happiness.

In 2023, Constance embraced her faith and was baptized, beginning her walk with the Lord. Her life was a testament to her devotion to family, her belief in faith, and her unrelenting desire to make the world a better place.

Constance was preceded in death by her parents, James and Jaquelyn Miller, and her son, Adam Barnhart. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Campbell of Florida and Teresa McDermott of Arizona; her brother, Lloyd Miller of California; her sister, Pamela Mink of Ohio; and her beloved granddaughter, Addy.

Constance’s life was also touched by the loving care of Mildred McGilvery, her angel on earth, who treated her as though she were her own mother. Mildred’s devotion to Constance in her final years brought her comfort and peace.

A celebration of Constance's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.

Constance's legacy of love, kindness, and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
