Cody Tyler Kaufmann

March 3, 1993 — January 14, 2025

Arlington

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cody Tyler Kaufmann, who left us on January 14, 2025, at the age of 31. Cody was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, whose life was defined by his selflessness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Cody was born on March 3, 1993, and grew up in Keller, Texas, where he graduated from Keller High School in 2011. His love for music was evident as he played in the Drumline during his high school years. He continued his education at Oklahoma State University, where he earned his degree in 2015, carrying with him a passion for learning and an unshakable optimism for the future.

Professionally, Cody worked as a Service Advisor at Classic Chevrolet, where his friendly demeanor and exceptional work ethic made a lasting impression on all who knew him. He took great pride in serving others, always going the extra mile to help those in need, both in his work and personal life. Whether it was offering a kind word, lending a hand, or simply being present for a friend or family member, Cody’s selflessness knew no bounds.

A true enthusiast at heart, Cody had a deep love for cars and racing. He was also an avid gamer, often spending hours enjoying video games with his friends. His interests were a reflection of his curious nature and his desire to connect with others over shared passions.

In 2019, Cody was diagnosed with colon cancer, but he faced this battle with the same tenacity and strength that characterized his entire life. Throughout his illness, he continued to inspire all who knew him with his resilience, positivity, and unyielding spirit. His courage in the face of adversity was a testament to his character, and he taught those around him to never take anything for granted and to always live life to the fullest.

Above all, Cody loved his family. He is survived by his devoted parents, Lori and Matt Kaufmann; his sister and brother-in-law, Kayla and Matthew Beaman; his niece, Emma Beaman; and his beloved dog, Sandy. Cody’s big heart touched everyone he met, and his legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will live on in all who were lucky enough to know him.
