Cleopha “Pops” Jackson, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 77. Born in Montgomery, Louisiana, on August 23, 1946, Cleopha leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his family and country.

Known affectionately as “Pops” or “Dad” to his children, Cleopha was a pillar of strength and support for his loved ones. He cherished every moment spent with his family, and his presence brought warmth and joy to those around him.

Cleopha had a passion for baseball, particularly as a devoted fan of the Texas Rangers. He also enjoyed watching basketball, rooting for the Dallas Mavericks, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys during football season. His love for sports was matched only by his enthusiasm for cars and fishing, hobbies he pursued with gusto throughout his life.

In his career, Cleopha worked in sales, specializing in industrial tools for Hagemeyer, formerly known as Briggs and Weaver. His dedication and work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

A man of faith, Cleopha found solace and inspiration in watching Shepherd’s Chapel on TV. He was known for his calm demeanor in stressful situations, his loving and giving nature, and his ability to uplift others with positive words of encouragement.

As a proud U.S. Army veteran, Cleopha served his country during the Vietnam conflict, embodying the values of honor, courage, and sacrifice. His service was a source of pride for him throughout his life.

Cleopha’s family will deeply miss his presence, his wisdom, and his unwavering support. He leaves behind a legacy of love and guidance that will continue to inspire generations to come.

He is survived by his sons Cleopha Jackson Jr. and wife Contesa, DeMarcus Deon Jackson and wife Jacqueline Mueller, daughter Jonina Titus and husband Kendal Titus, grandchildren Ayana Yancey, Donasia Jackson, Johnathan Jackson, Sia Mueller, and Caden Mueller, great-grandchildren Ayla Yancey and Quintin Yancey.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 11th at Wade Funeral Home and Crematory. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:15 p.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Cleopha’s life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and family. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Rest in peace, dear Cleopha. Your memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved you.
