Claude David Horan, Jr., 95, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in Arlington. Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the graveside at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. He retired from the U.S. Army and was a WWII medic. He attended Arlington State College. Claude owned several companies throughout his career. He owned Horan Violin Shop and Horan Paint Shop; and was a race horse trainer. He was the owner of an artist museum in Downtown Arlington in the 1960's. He has several exhibits in the Fielder Museum and the Top of the Hill Terrace Museum. Claude was a charter member of Fielder Church. He served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher. He was a member of the VFW and Old Times Band. Claude had also served his community as a Scout Master, He had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful story teller. Claude was preceded in death by his wife, Lavicie Horan; parents; sister, Catherine Gober; brothers, Thomas, Riley Pat and James Horan; and sister-in-law, Beverly Horan. Survivors: Sister, Ann Horan Bishop; brother, Jack Horan; brother-in-law, John Bishop; sisters-in-law, Linda Horan, Charlene Horan and Doreen Horan. Wade Family Funeral Home (817) 274-9233
