Mrs. Cinda Lynn Palomino

August 15, 1955 — January 30, 2024

Cinda Palomino, age 68, passed away holding her loving husbands’ hand on January 30th.

Cinda was born in Linden, Tx on August 15, 1955, to Mother Jessie Mae Mims and Father Charles Eugene Mims. Cinda married the love of her life, Eddie Palomino, on September 28, 1985. She worked for Arlington ISD transportation for 18 years before retiring in 2019. Cinda had a servant’s heart and was the official Sweetheart of the Arlington Elks Lodge 2114. Even as she retired from her duties as the Elks Sweetheart in 2022, she was still considered the sweetheart of the lodge by many. Cinda found her home away from home on the Carnival Cruise Line and she and Eddie enjoyed many cruises together with family and friends. Cinda was a very magical person. She had an infectious smile that would light up any room.

To know Cinda was to to love her. She loved everyone in return and her love was unconditional. She had a heart as big as Texas and she made every single person she encountered feel like the most special person in the world. Cinda adored her family. The light of her life was her grandchildren.

Cinda is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Patricia McClain, and two brothers Randall Wilson and Scott Wilson.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Palomino, daughter and son-in-law LeAnn and Frank Garman, son Erik Palomino, son and daughter-in-law Anthony and Aubrie Palomino, daughter Raquel Broussard, son and daughter-in-law Eddie and Michele Palomino, ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, sisters Cheryl Westbrook, Debbie Chisolm, brother David Mims, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00pm on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, at Wade Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas. A burial will be held on Feb. 14, 2024, at DFW National Cemetery at 11:30am.
