Cheryl Ann Zacha

ARLINGTON, TX-Cheryl “Cheri” Ann Zacha, 68, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at her home. Memorial Mass: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 2, at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2100 N. Davis Drive, Arlington. Inurnment: 3:00 p.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Cheri was born February 24, 1948 in Amarillo, TX to T.C. and Anna (Cole) Shivers. She was a graduate of Mt. Dora High School, Mt. Dora, FL. She was united in Holy Matrimony on April 6, 1968 on Reese AFB in Lubbock, TX. Cheri was a Religious Education Director, Rainbow Girl, Eastern Star, Girl Scout Leader, and Artist & Angel collector. Cheri was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Survivors: She lives on through her husband of nearly 49 years, Mike Zacha of Beecher City, Ill; her children, Michael, Matthew, Renee and Andrea; her heart was filled with unconditional love for all 18 grandchildren; her 3 brothers, Ed, Bill and Tim; and her person, Debby Atkins-Craig.
