Cheryl Ann Sheldon

Mrs. Cheryl Ann Sheldon, 69 of Mansfield, TX, passed away Friday afternoon, April 5, 2024 at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX.

She was born December 14, 1954, in Bellevue, OH to the late Robert L and Nancy L Williamson.

Cheryl’s story of love, dedication, and service. She worked 30 years Civil Service for the Navy Reserve, which stands as a testament to her commitment to her country and community. Born into the Williamson family, she extended her legacy of love, warmth, and kindness to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her life was filled with friends who always knew she would be there for them. Everyone she touched would tell you that she had a keen sense of humor, a kind heart, and love of life. As we honor her memory, we are reminded of the resilience and love she instilled in those around her. The service in her honor will not only celebrate her life but also the indelible mark she left on those who knew her. Her spirit, characterized by her generosity and unwavering spirit, will continue to inspire and guide us. Cheryl’s journey through life exemplifies a path of love, strength and profound impact, leaving behind memories that will be cherished and upheld by all who knew her.

She is survived by a daughter, Dena Harper of Mansfield, TX; a son, James Williams of Mansfield, TX; 3 grandchildren, Jared Brown, Collin Harper, and Erin Williams of Mansfield, TX; 1 great-grandchild, Kinley Brown of Mansfield, TX; a brother, Kevin (Gay) Williamson of Bel Air, MD; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Bill” and a brother, Robert L Williamson Jr.

Funeral service will be at 11:00AM on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Wade Family Funeral Home in Arlington, TX. The burial will be at 1:15PM at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. You can leave condolences for the family below.
