Charlie Cannon

Charlie Cannon, 76, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 11th, 2024. He is survived by his wife Donna Claxton Cannon, son Chase Cannon, brother Scott Cannon, and his wife Michele Cannon. Charlie was born January 2nd, 1948 in Ballinger, Texas to Joy & Harry Cannon.

Charlie grew up in Odessa, TX. He spent his early life running track and playing football at Permian High School in Odessa and continued to run track for Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. He married his wife Donna on May 2nd, 1981, and welcomed his son, Chase, on January 26th, 1991. Together, the three of them created a life of love, happiness, and adventure.

He loved to spend his time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, and playing golf. Charlie leaves behind a legacy of family, friendship, loyalty, and devotion.

John 16:22 “So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.”

Services will be held at Wade Family Funeral Home in Arlington. The visitation is Tuesday, January 16th from 5-7 pm. His celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 17th at 1 pm.
