Charles Thomas Ewing, 92, of Arlington, TX, passed away on July 27, 2024. A private graveside with military honors will be held at the DFW National Cemetery on Wednesday, August 7 at 10:15 am.
Better known to most as Chuck, he was born in the small town of Alabam, Arkansas on June 3, 1932. After attending the School of the Ozarks, Chuck joined the Air Force and served as a B-52 Navigator for 20 years. While stationed in Maine, he met and married the love of his life, Donna Miller. They celebrated 62 years of marriage before she passed away in 2017.
Chuck also had a long career working with 3M Business Machines before retiring in Arlington, Texas. Chuck and Donna were long time members of Arlington United Methodist Church.
Chuck was an avid Cowboys and Rangers fan, loved to travel, and enjoyed a good Tex-Mex dinner.
His family includes two daughters and sons-in-law Pam (Rodney) Fischer and Patty (Mike) Bowen; Grandchildren Jenni (John) Nelson, Amanda (Mark) Chapman, Elizabeth (Kyle) Givens, Matt (Maddie) Bowen, Candice (Greg) Rapini, Adam (Raelene) Fischer; 25 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Alma Ewing; his wife Donna (Miller) Ewing and grandson Steven Bowen.
