Chad Behner

Chad Behner passed peacefully from this life at high noon on January 12th, 2018. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and the medical staff at Medical City Fort Worth. Chad was born in Missoula, MT, but has been a resident of Texas with his partner Justin Mathews since 2007. In 1995, after graduating from Hellgate High School Chad moved to Logan, Utah to attended college at the Utah State University with his friends Paul Bissell, Zeb & Garth Philpott, Andre Labonty, and Jake Wilhelm. Chad had many passions and love for the life around him that included his family, friends, co-workers, the Texas Rangers, music, movies, and aviation. Chads favorites didn't just stop there other favorites of his included Mexican and Italian food, bubble gum ice cream, the Indian paintbrush flower, funny quotes on t-shirts, and a good glass of wine. Chad is survived by his best friend and partner of 13 years Justin Mathews. His Mother and Father Michael and Elaine Behner, seven siblings; Amber Cadieux and husband Josh Cadieux, Clifton Behner, Randy Cathey, Kevin Cathey, Karrie Jo McDonald, Naome Wright, and Brian Behner. Chad is also survived by his sister-in-law and Her Husband Pyper and Casey Chambers; Father-in-Law Larry Mathews, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Martin and Mary Lou Behner, Uncle John Behner, and Mother-in-Law Lynda Mathews A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 21st, 2018 at 3:00pm.
