Cathy Acciarito Williams

Cathy Acciarito Williams, 63, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 in Grand Prairie after an eight year illness. Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Thursday, March 18, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1200 South Davis Drive, Arlington. Interment: Parkdale Cemetery, Arlington. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, at Wade Family Funeral Home, Belle Hall, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Cathy was born on August 26, 1957 in Dallas, Texas to Vito Acciarito and Nancy Harris Acciarito. She was raised in Dallas and Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School in 1975 and the University of Texas at Arlington in 1981. A resident of Grand Prairie since 1986, she was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. Cathy worked as an interior designer for many years, owning her own interior design business, Williams Design Associates, from 1991 until 2013. She enjoyed art, painting, and travel. She was preceded in death by her father, Vito Acciarito. Survivors: Husband of 36 years, Don Williams; mother, Nancy Harris Acciarito; and brother, Andy Acciarito and wife, Cindy.
