Carol Diane Bond

ARLINGTON -- Carol Diane Bond, loving wife and mother, passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, in Mansfield at the age of 63. Funeral: 4 p.m. Saturday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Private interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Carol was born Sept. 24, 1950, in Enid, Okla., to Mabon and Joyce Foster Smith. She was a longtime Arlington resident and member of Grace Baptist Church in Arlington. Her joys included teaching her daughters and being with family. Carol was very active in her church, enjoyed her Sunday school class and loved her church family. She was preceded in death by her father; and infant son, Jason. Survivors: Husband, Johnny Lee Bond; daughter, Tori and Catherine Bond; brothers, Ron, Doug and Gary Smith; sisters, Gail Litton, Janie Carpenter and Marilyn Shahan; and a host of family and friends.
