ARLINGTON -- Carol Ann Hellman passed away Saturday, June 11th at 5:30 pm at the age of 73.
Services: will be Saturday, June 18th at 3:00 pm at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington. As were her wishes, she will be placed with her beloved husband in Fort Worth, Texas, where she will be laid to rest.
Carol was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota on August 10th of 1942 to the late Clarence George and Mabel Astrid Schossow.
She graduated from John A Johnson High School in 1960. She was a member of the J-Ettes Marching Unit and an Honor Guard for the graduating Class of 1959. She continued her education at St. John's Hospital Program for Phlebotomy to receive a degree. She then worked as medical lab technician. She loved horses, dogs, cats, and just about all God's creatures. She also loved English riding, and was a most accomplished artist. Her favorite game was Scrabble (where she would annihilate you repeatedly) and had a love for reading. Carol and her husband Stewart spent a lot of time traveling from city to city and state to state until they settled down in North Texas, where she spent most of her life as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; and her husband and soul mate, Stewart Walton Hellman.
Survivors: She is survived by her sister, Sue Marie (Schossow) Reinhard of California; and her brother, Jerome Harry Schossow of Minnesota. She had three children, Thomas Karl Schlueter, Jr., Jeffrey Michael Schlueter and Deanna Maria McCoy, four step- children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed.
