Carey “Pete” Craven Baker, 81, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in Arlington. Funeral Mass: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2100 N. Davis Drive, Arlington. Interment: 2:15 p.m., Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday with a rosary beginning at 7 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County, mealsonwheels.org. Pete was born on January 27, 1937 in Strong, Arkansas to William Riley Baker Jr. and Katie Lee Craven Baker. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Al Baker and Roy Baker; sisters, Marcell Thomas, and Jean Raley. Survivors: Wife of 42 years, Ramona Jappour Baker; sons, Ron Baker and wife, Melessa and Chip Baker and wife, Heather; daughter, Carina Baker; brother, Bill Baker; grandchildren, Justin Baker and Jeremy Baker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
