Mansfield – Bryce Spangler, 67, beloved husband, father and friend, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 after a courageous battle against cancer. Memorial Service: 11:00AM Saturday, July 9, 2016 at St. Peter and St. Paul Anglican Church, 3900 Morris Ln, Arlington, TX 76016. Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00PM Friday, July 8, 2016 at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76013. Memorials: As a true patriot and a man who never met a dog that was a stranger, memorial gifts may be made to Patriot PAWS, 254 Ranch Trail, Rockwall, TX 75032. Bryce was born on August 26, 1948, in Fort Worth, TX to Gene and Skip Spangler. He grew up living all over the United States due to his father's Air Force career, but eventually settled back home in Fort Worth, TX where he graduated from Arlington Heights High School. Bryce had a long time career in precast concrete sales, a job which he truly loved. He was an avid snow skier, loyal Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed traveling, spending time at Lake Granbury, and working on weekend projects. He was a man of strong faith who loved his church where he was an usher and a member of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew. His family and friends will always remember him as an exceptionally kind and loving person, with a generous heart and beautiful smile. Survivors: Love of his life and wife of 28 years, Lesa; adored daughter, Lindsey; sister-in-law Frana Spangler; nieces, Jennifer Neal (Chris) and Becky Grimes; nephew, Jeremy Spangler; and many extended family members and close friends.
