Bryan Devon Johnson

Bryan Devon Johnson, 45, joined our Almighty Father on August 21, 2014. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Bryan had touched in his own little ways throughout the 45 memorable years of his life. Bryan was born on November 19, 1968 in Los Angeles, California to Oliver Johnson and Beverly Cook. He graduated from Raytown South Senior High School and attended Central Missouri State. Bryan worked in the retail industry for 20 years and was The Grove Inc. Area Manager for their Dallas Lovefield Airport location. He had an eye for decoration and his love for music and singing karaoke is unparalleled. He loved cooking and was the personal chef to family and friends. The beautiful beaches of Boracay Island, Philippines was one of Bryan's favorite vacation destinations. Before his passing, he was able to set foot for the last time on that beautiful island in June of 2014. Survivors: Wife, Marie Grace Johnson; son, Brycen Johnson; daughters, Aysia Johnson and Sieara Wilson; grandchildren, Sean, Ayana and Demetrius; mother, Beverly Jones; father, Oliver Johnson; brothers, Terrik Jones and Craig Johnson and wife, Crystal; sister, Maisha Washington and her husband, Alrick; paternal grandmother, Gloria Johnson; maternal aunt, Rochelle Clark; maternal uncles, Wayne Russell and wife, Karen, and Barry Russell; cousins, Cameron and Laurrin; nephews, Todd, Joe, Garland, Uniikye, Kenaj; nieces, Maya and Brooklyn; and a host of friends he considered family. Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park, Kennedale. Visitation: Friday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
