Brenda June “BJ” Thomas, 75, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 in Arlington. Memorial Service: 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 15, at First Presbyterian Church, 1200 S. Collins Street, Arlington. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Texas Health Oncology Unit, Attention: Joseph Whitely, 800 W. Randol Mill Rd., Arlington, Texas 76012. BJ was born on July 22, 1942 in Groesbeck, Texas to Leonard Cleo Roberson and Jo Eddie Roberson. BJ lost her 13-month battle with Leukemia. She retained her positive outlook and unmatched grace throughout her struggle. She will be lovingly remembered for her devoted caring and gracious hospitality. BJ was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors: Husband, Larry Thomas; daughter, Courtney Sanders and husband, Michael; stepson, Brian Thomas; brother, Lynn Roberson and wife, Janis; sister, Robin Guilbault; granddaughters, Sloane Sanders and Madison Sanders; nieces, Erin Martinez and Bartlett Barry; nephews, Austin Roberson, Jacob Guilbault, Noah Guilbault and Bob Stevens.
