Bradford Clay Nelson

Bradford Clay Nelson, 73, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 in Arlington. Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Hillcrest Church of Christ, 1401 Hillcrest Drive, Arlington with Mr. Trey Henry officiating. Brad was born on November 15, 1943 in Honolulu, Hawaii to William Nelson and Lorean Dodson Nelson. An Arlington resident since 1950, he graduated from Arlington High School in 1962. Brad attended Arlington State College. He was an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts and retired from the Marine Corps Reserves. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Brad is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Wife of 18 years, Johnnie Rodden Nelson; sons, Scott Nelson, Kenneth Norman and wife Pam and Kyle Norman; daughters, Lisa Wood, Kelli Lafayette and Amber Williams and husband, Jonathan; sister, Lana Winn and husband, Ron; sister-in-law, Linda Moore and husband, Tommy; 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
