Bobby Lee Dinsmore

Bobby Lee Dinsmore Sr., 82, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 in Arlington, Texas.

Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington.

Bobby was born on February 12, 1941 in McKinney, Texas to Bennie Lee Dinsmore and Mary Evelyn Mallow Dinsmore. He married Barbara Jean Amy on September 30, 1961. Bobby was a U.S. Navy veteran having served as a Radarman 2nd Class. He loved his work and the comradery between the other seamen.

He worked for 42 years with Bearings and Power Transmission and as a Branch Manager for Motion Industries. Bobby was a great mentor to the many people he worked with in his profession. He was always driven to be successful and retired on April 30, 2008.

Bobby was the President of the Arlington Sportsman’s Club in 1988. He loved to fish and was a member of Bottom Bumpers Bass Club. He loved to shoot skeet and enjoyed hunting on his friends’ deer leases. He was an excellent handyman and loved to work on cars. Bobby was a member of the Elks Lodge in Arlington. He loved listening to country music, especially George Jones, Waylon Jennings and Tammy Wynette.

Bobby helped anyone he could in the neighborhood. He was outgoing and never met a stranger. He was the life of the party. Bobby dearly loved his family and provided for them always. He loved to coach his daughters at the Arlington Girls Softball Association. He was a wonderful and caring father.

He is preceded in death by his Father Bennie Lee Dinsmore, his Mother Mary Evelyn Mallow Dinsmore, and his Son Bobby Lee Dinsmore, Jr. and Granddaughter Lauren Marie Hussey

He is survived by so many that loved him, starting with his most-adored wife of 61 years, Barbara Jean Dinsmore; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Denise Dinsmore Stephens and Loyd Dale Stephens; daughter and son-in-law, Lola Marie Dinsmore Hussey and James Robert Hussey, Sr; Benjamin Lee Stephens, Brandon Earl Stephens, Jeffrey Thurmond, James Robert Hussey, Jr., Justin Ryan Hussey, Jeremy Ross Hussey, Jared Reid Hussey, Jason Russell Hussey (grandsons); Brittany Denise Stephens, Heather Renee Hansen (granddaughters); Kayla Michelle Neal, Chandler Marie-Ann Lopez, Isabelle Marie Stephens, Charlotte Kate Stephens (great-granddaughters); and four great-great granddaughters.
