ARLINGTON -- Billy Ray Frazier, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014, in Arlington.
Celebration of life: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, at First Baptist Church, Arlington, with burial in Pflugerville.

Billy was born to Loy and Ethel Frazier on June 30, 1927, in O'Donnell. Early in life, Bill was baptized and as a youth dedicated himself to serve God. He graduated from Austin High School and earned degrees from Hardin-Simmons University and Southwestern Theological Seminary.
After pastoring several churches, he and his family went to Brazil as missionaries under the Southern Baptist Foreign Mission Board. In 1981, he became director of the Corpus Christi Baptist Association, where he served until 1994. After retirement, he led the missions program of First Baptist Church, Corpus Christi. Bill married Annita Sibley in 1950 and they were blessed with four children.
Survivors: Wife of 63 years, Annita; daughters, Christina Alters and Teresa Hemperley; sons, Billy Thomas and Timothy Sibley Frazier; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Shirley); and sister, Jerrilyn Whipple.
